New Look in the Kitchen

We (meaning Bruce) are painting the walls in the kitchen!

We thought he should change the thin paneling above the cupboard and put up sheet rock.

I think we should leave it open, now that I look at it.

We can only do part as the other side is the cold air return for the furnace.

I think it would open up the room more, but I don't want to dust the stuff on top...

What do you think?

Stephanie said...: I did the same thing on spruce street. Leave it open! If possible pop out a few of those dividers or saw them off. I loved putting my vintage kitchen stuff up there. It does get greasy and dusty but you can't see it until you are up there and doing a deep cleaning or rearranging.; April 7, 2011 at 6:15 PM
