The Merry Month of May

Monday pool day, Bruce was able to stand up in the three foot deep water three times for about a minute each time. He said it wore him out so he was only able to walk the length of the pool twice.
Christie took me to lunch at Golden Crown. We had a nice visit and talked a lot and did some eating too.
Tuesday, Andrew mowed the lawn and made dinner. Gorilla cheese samiches and mater poop. (grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, we like to play with words at our house) He did work hard that day. Bruce sat out front enjoying the sunshine and reading a Cat Who murder Mystery.
Bruce is doing well in OT and has almost conquered the slide board transfer. His goal is to be able to do it for Stake conference in two weeks.
Wednesday Rosala and Debbie brought us beef stew with taters and carrots, a delicious fruit salad and rice Krispy treats with chocolate frosting. We are blessed.
Bruce went to the Dr again for his ear. She flushed it out once more and then referred us to a local ENT. Bruce apparently has wax build up right on the ear drum. So in a couple of weeks another DR we will meet. Bruce was able to uncross one of his legs today by himself. He usually stiffens up from sitting and can't move his legs. We cross his legs for him to give him a break and lo and behold he moves it himself. We hope to see more of this in the future.
The young girls in our church brought us a delightful bouquet of cookie flowers. There was much noise, smiles and laughter. Oh to be young again...
A third grader from Central school is very concerned about Bruce and wanted to bring over cookies and do service. She and her mom, brother and baby sister came over with cookies and bright flowers and stayed to pull dandelions! We have a plethora of dandelions, sigh. I got to hold baby sister while the children and mom found puff balls of dandelions to eradicate. They filled two bags and were very hard workers. Bruce held the baby too.
Thursday Duncan made pigs in the blanket with croissant dough. They were surprisingly good.
The week ends with us being tired, overworked and very happy.

It sounds as if, in addition to all the blessings you're receiving, you are providing many blessings for others. Dandelion infusion is good for your skin. =)
