Annie costumes

Maureen O' Brien came over yesterday and borrowed about 20 costumes for Annie, the musical. They are doing it at the Elgin Opera house. I have this great old fashioned black house coat with huge bright embroidered flowers and six inch long yella fringe, she wanted it for Miss Hannigan, played by Katlin O'Brien. Jon Hanley is Daddy Warbucks. She took all eight 'girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes' for the 5 lovely Boylen sisters, she will have to add color to the dresses. She took retro dresses, coats and hats for the Hooverville scene. She was stressing, there are 60 some in the cast. She has all the main orphans done but still needs to finish costumes for 26 more orphans. She will bring fabric and patterns over later for me to help sew up.
