Carrots!

What's up Doc?
Bruce planted these carrots this year, for variety and something fun to do.
He harvested a 5 gal bucket of the carrots.
The white one is our ghost carrot.
The red one is a blood carrot and it is orange on the inside.

Giveaway

I have five yards of orange velour fabric. I made three pumpkins out of it. The first 4 people to log in will get a yard. www.marthastewart.com

Cut out a fabric rectangle, 5-by-10-inch, 8-by-16-inch, and 11-by-22-inch pieces for our three pumpkin sizes.

Fold rectangle, right side up, so short sides meet; stitch along that edge with 1/4-inch seam allowance. Baste the bottom seam and pull threads to gather.
pull thread to cinch fabric, and stitch to secure.

I think I will add a green button for the stem. I love buttons.
