Home, Sweet Home

Breakfast was a huge breakfast burrito, two slices of bacon, a small bowl of blueberries and apple juice. The blood test is back, said he needed more protein, and drink more water. The bladder was good, no UTI.
OT was lifting a pipe, it reminded me of the rain maker pipes, stretching his left arm, doing some reaches and lifts. She gave him a sponge on a long wooden dowel so when he showers he can reach his armpits, toes and back.
Hung up some fun cards we got in the mail yesterday. Bruce liked the fly. I wanted to make earrings out of it. Bruce said it would tickle my ears.
The contractor says it will take about two weeks to do the renovations if the plumbing goes okay, no dry rot and or other issues. They will begin this week.
PT was changing back to the mid wheel chair, ranging and stretching.
Lunch was sword fish on a bed of lettuce, green salad, and chocolate milk.
I had a quiche, grapes and cheese squares.
I am going back to La Grande to be with our son Andrew for a while and get the house ready for renovation.
I drove through fog from Boise to Farewell Bend, then clear roads.
Picked up some groceries at Safeway and made it home. Got a nice big hug from my son. Thank you Huntsman's for watching our son.
Talked to Bruce for a couple of minutes. He said Jay and Jeri Mackley stopped by with their lovely daughter Lisa, who is returning from a year teaching English in China. Bruce suggested she talk to our lovely daughter Crystal about the work she does overseas for nonprofits.
Trying to help my teenager fill out a summer job application. He needs his dad, mom just doesn't make the bill.
This tired mama is going to hit the hay.
