Waiting at the Hospital

Andrew waiting
Wait and Watch is what we are doing now. Grandpa K had surgery in his neck and on his back between his shoulder blades. He should have some nice scars from those.
He is in a great deal of pain. He whispers for help and says 'pain' all the time. It is not fun to watch him like this.
Here is a picture of  Andrew waiting. He is practicing his smolder
.

Bruce must be feeling better. He is bossing us around. We give him small pieces of ice to eat. He says they don't even melt, they are absorbed into his very dry mouth. He asks us to rub his
Andrew's Smolder
feet. Normally I would not touch his feet. He has a smashed toenail, he dropped a rock on it and the toenail is disgusting. In this case we made an exception.
I can't get this 'infernal' machine, as grandpa Bob called it, to post the pictures, will do that when I get home. The pictures of Grandpa K in ICU are pretty unnerving, a person that was so active to see in this helpless condition with tubes in them is not fun.
The local newspaper wrote a very nice article. You can find it at lagrandeobserver.com, type in Bruce Kevan in the search box.
